Good News!!!!!

So this last couple day I have had some great news!  I was hired for a new job.  I can only say this once.  I was hired in at COX COMMUNICATIONS!

I am soooo excited to be working for a REAL company, with real GROWN UPS! I am exhausted from dealing with the douchbags at Sears who all think they are big shit because they live at home with their Mommas.

How crazy is this?

I have had an interesting past 5 days.  It started with my cousin Mandy's arrival and the chaos that in sued along with her.  Although really fun for me (being a child of chaos and all) it was not so much fun for the people I live with. We went out to do her favorite thing.....walk the mall.  I must preface this with, we were in the most ghetto mall in Mesa. Fiesta Mall.  As I am walking in, I pass this creature disguised as a guy. He follows me into the Mall, and asks about the tattoo on my back, following up with the comment, "You're really beautiful....by the way."  I thank him for the compliment and continue to walk the mall with Mandy.  Ten minutes later, this creature starts stalking me, following us all around the mall. And....I am flattered by the stalking. (it's not often that a big girl like myself finds a stalker ya know) Come to find out his name is Cole, and he just wants to be friends with me......whatever.


After Mandy leaves to continue her journey across country (with one break line and a death trap for a car.....don't ask) My roommates parents decided to drop in for a visit.  This is all fine and good except for the "gratitude" for opening up our home to them is completely fake.  This is something we all see and play along for the sake of keeping the peace.  However, my poor roommate had been on edge since before their arrival and still is...even though they left two days ago.  I have to honestly say I am so happy I had napped through the drama that happened on Sunday.

I had a job interview with a great company last week, I found out that this particular company receives 3700 applications a month! Can you believe that? And I made it to an interview.  I thought I did pretty well, but I may have come off a little too confident. Either way, I made it to an interview......most don't even get that far! :)


However, in the mean time I'm stuck in hell, working for a demonic company as a corporate whore. I had to pick up a secondary job to supplement my income. That starts today. I am a little worried about that, BUT.... I am determined to do my best! 


Oh....and I have a really funny story in the works....that is based on true event! It promises to at least make you giggle!

Visiting with Mandy.

My cousin Mandy came to visit yesterday. She and her boyfriend are passing through on their way from California back to Michigan. I caught up to them at Fiesta Mall, where I learn that their car is in bad repair.  I have them take to the car to my mechanic to have it looked at, then brought them to my home for dinner. This was a lot of fun. It was fun to hang out with a reasonable family member. Everyone else in our family is pretty much insane.  Its nice to hear that someone I am actually related to doesn't resent me because I decided to leave Michigan and pursue my own life.

This visit did not come without consequences however. My "immediate family" was not happy with having them over. This caused some problems, and even this morning I'm not too sure how to feel about it.

Her visit did bring some perspective.  I learn new thing about my biological mother, aunt, and even my sister. (I will spare the universe the details)

They will be leaving today. I will be sad to see them go, but happy that they are doing their own thing.
